People just install the Antivirus program they see , but to ensure maximum protection it is a good idea to check the strength of you Antivirus against viruses.

Below is a way to test your Antivirus and know the truth about it !!!

Right down the below given code in note pad and save as by the name      eicar.com

The code is :

X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*

Now if you antivirus is active it will scan the file and notify you about this file, but if it doesn’t, manually scan the file , if this also not works then open this file , but if the antivirus  still doesn’t show a message then you should seriously  think about changing your Antivirus program.

Note that this file is not harmful file but just tests your antivirus strength.
