When trying to find the cheapest and best valued computer to buy where do you go? Back in the old days there wasn’t much choice on where to buy your computer, however now everyone sells them. eBay sells every kind of computer you could imagine and for very competitive prices too. Of course, in most cases, the local computer store cannot compete with eBay prices. But on the other hand people still feel more secure buying their computer from a person they can see and talk to.

Here are some quick tips to follow when buying a new computer at the cheapest prices:

  • Don’t let sales people entice you with software preloaded onto your computer. Most of this software ends up being trial software and when the trial period has expired it will nag you to purchase it. All the software you need is available on the internet for free anyway.
  • Make sure you do not buy a cheap computer with cheap parts in it. Stick with the top brands like Intel, Asus, Microsoft, LG, HP, Dell, etc. Don’t worry they are still reasonably cheap.
  • Make sure you get a dual core processor at the least. If the computer is not dual core or more in this day and age, than it is really old stock.
  • Request the latest Operating system which is Windows Seven. Never go for the basic version, always go for the nest one up. You will find you will be restricted with some tasks otherwise.
  • Make sure the computer has a minimum of 2GB ram (memory) because we all need a bit more power now days. You do not want your new computer to struggle through tasks.
  • Get a computer with a decent hard drive, 120 GB or more. Don’t forget we store a lot more things on the computer now days.
